As of February 19th 2020, DLsite English began displaying the original Japanese introductions for certain newly released items. These introductions are taken directly from the Japanese website entry for the same product. (e.g. From RJ123456 to RE123456)

As they have not been localized to reflect the reality of DLsite English (which differs from the Japanese website), these Japanese introductions are for reference purposes ONLY.

DLsite does NOT guarantee the accuracy of anything claimed in the original Japanese introductions (Including, but not limited to... special deals, discounts, coupons, promises about treasures beyond your wildest dreams, etc.) and will not be held accountable for any inconsistency between the text shown and the actual content downloaded via DLsite English. Caveat Emptor. (Buyer Beware)

We have been translating product descriptions since 2004 and we understand that this change will not be, immediately, in the best interests of our English speaking audience.

Please note that the cessation of localizing introduction text for all products on DLsite English is due to a change in the Japanese website's data retention format and a step towards the merging of DLsite English into the Japanese website.

These changes (which will ultimately provide a significantly better experience for our international customers) will take time to implement and we apologize for any inconvenience in the interim.
