There has been a development in regard to the issue of PlayDRM authentication that was previously announced.

To address the problem which was introduced by the previously announced Windows Update, the PlayDRM protection software was updated, and we have since confirmed that the authentication issue has been resolved.
Thus, the authentication issue should no longer occur for newly released works which have this newest version of PlayDRM applied.

Please note, however, that the issue will still occur for past works which have older versions of PlayDRM applied.
We are currently in the process of reapplying the protection software to such works in sequential order, but as there are many such works, it may take significant time until they have all been updated.
We ask you please bear with us until the process is complete.

Additionally, we are also considering the implementation of countermeasures such that a similar situation does not recur.
