[Important] Upcoming changes to the User Agreement [Addition on Dec. 23]

Thank you for your ongoing patronage of DLsite.

We are contacting you to inform you about the extensive revisions we are making to the DLsite User Agreement.
The new User Agreement will come into effect from January 14th.

■Purpose of Revision

  • Because DLsite's services are expanding
  • Because we wish to make information regarding the ownership of intellectual property rights clearer
  • Because we want to make the Prohibited Acts clearer, so they are less likely to occur
  • Because we want to make the Agreement easier to understand overall

■Major changes

Article 5
Added circumstances where, if a user is involved in antisocial forces, the company can refuse or cancel registration.

Article 11
Made the ownership rights of content sold on DLsite, and content viewer(s), clear.

Article 12
Made clear under what circumstances provision of content sold on DLsite may be suspended or terminated.

Article 13
Made clear the ownership rights on reviews and other content posted by users on DLsite.

Article 17
Added items to Prohibited Acts, and made clear what kind of acts are forbidden.

Article 18
Made clear under what circumstances the company can delete a user's account.

Article 22
Made clear the means of communication/notification between the company and users.
