[Important] Regarding PlayDRM Authentication Trouble (Update)
Thank you for your patronage of DLsite.
Currently, authentication via PlayDRM is experiencing technical issues.
Per our investigation, it would seem that the issues in question only manifest in environments that are running Windows 11 version "24H2" that was released October 2024, and that, in other environments authentication can be performed without issue.
As we have received many reports of problems occurring due to Windows 11 Version "24H2" and are aware that games made by certain makers have ceased to work in this environment, it is highly likely that the current authentication issues with PlayDRM are related.
Microsoft's Official Page ("Windows 11, version 24H2 known issues and notifications")
If you update to or install Windows 11 version "24H2", it is highly likely that you will become unable to authenticate PlayDRM works, and thus we strongly recommend that you avoid doing so for now.

Updated on December 6th, 2024 (JST)
As per our investigation, we have identified it is highly likely that Windows 11 version "24H2" is not the direct cause, and instead that Windows Update "KB5046740" is responsible.
There is a good possibility that uninstalling Windows Update "KB5046740" will resolve the issue at hand, so we request that anyone experiencing authentication troubles please first try that.
